About you and this role
Supports EHS&S Excellence Process Service Solutions (EPS) as an advanced SAP system user with advanced data processing skills within a team to deliver EHS&S data, documents and services in support of EHS&S regulatory compliance. Executes assigned judgement-based tasks defined in standard operating procedures to deliver on-time EHS&S Services. Independently applies demand management principles to prioritize requests to meet Service Level Agreements. Requires a limited degree of supervision, typically only on complex new assignments and provides technical supervision on select subject matters.
Responsibilities / Duties
- Executes with proficiency workflow management. Performs demand management to prioritize requests.
- Executes assigned judgement-based tasks using standard operating procedures.
- Expert in EH&S data management defined in work process. Troubleshoots complex problems within the EHS&S EPS Team and other functional teams.
- Provides technical supervision to less experienced EHS&S EPS Team members on select subject matters.Performs change control for both routine and project activities.
- Participates in projects to improve workflow design and suggests work process improvements to work process owner.
- Provides solutions to analytical or scientific problems in situations that are complex based on existing precedents or procedures.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS&S roles, preferably in the chemical industry.
- Strong knowledge of EHS&S regulations and standards.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing EHS&S processes and solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge on SAP applications.
- Microsoft applications, PowerPoint, Power BI
- Knowledge on MSDS/SDS creation.
- Able to conduct Root Cause Investigation with non-biased mindset.
